High Schoolers Lend a Hand in Decatur Recovery Efforts
Just a week after devastating storms swept through Northwest Arkansas, students from nearby high schools have stepped up to support the recovery efforts in Decatur. Volunteer groups from Gravette, Siloam Springs, and Gentry High Schools gathered on Saturday to help clear debris left in the wake of the devastation.
The students’ collective effort marked a powerful display of community spirit as they worked together, side by side, to expedite the cleanup process. Their involvement not only shows the resilience of the community but also the determination of these young people to be a constructive force in their region.
Despite the significant challenges posed by the storm, the students approached the task with enthusiasm, taking on seemingly daunting tasks with equipment and supplies provided by local organizations. Their dedication will undoubtedly help accelerate the recovery process and bring hope to families and residents affected by the disaster.
