Multiple Shootings Rock Midwest Cities
A spate of shootings in Rogers and Chicago has left communities reeling and authorities working to unravel the details of each incident.
Early on Sunday, a man was shot during an altercation in Rogers Park, with the incident occurring around 3:47 a.m. in the 6900 block of North Glenwood.
In another disturbing incident, a mass shooting on a Blue Line train in Forest Park early on Labor Day left four people dead. Surveillance footage captured the shooter targeting victims, and police utilized video surveillance to track and arrest the shooter on a Pink Line train. A gun was recovered from the suspect, identified as Rhanni S. Davis, who has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder.
In a separate incident, a 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting in Rogers. Authorities have described this as an isolated incident, posing no threat to the public.
