Man Arrested in Connection with Rogers Shooting
Authorities in Rogers, Arkansas, have arrested a 19-year-old man, Michael Barcenas, in connection with a shooting incident that left one adult male victim with a gunshot wound.
Around 10 p.m. on September 5, officers from the Rogers Police Department responded to a medical emergency on the 0 block of South 13th Street. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot injury.
Charges and Investigation Details
Police collected sufficient evidence to charge Barcenas with either capital murder or attempted capital murder. The investigation remains active, although authorities have labeled the shooting an isolated incident, ensuring there is no ongoing threat to community safety.
Barcenas is currently being detained at the Benton County Jail without bond.
