The latest addition to Proof Downtown is Lasang Pinoy, a vibrant Filipino restaurant poised to revolutionize the dining scene in Rogers. Lasang Pinoy is the brainchild of Ate Maria Smith, who left her corporate career behind to pursue a dream of sharing the rich culinary traditions of the Philippines with her community.
Lasang Pinoy is dedicated to showcasing the diverse flavors of Filipino cuisine, which is a vibrant blend of influences from Spain, Mexico, India, and China, combined with distinct local techniques and ingredients. The restaurant offers a family-style dining experience designed to make every guest feel welcomed and part of the extended family.
The core team behind Lasang Pinoy includes Ate Maria as the founder, Kuya Bill as the head chef, and Ate Tess as the general manager. Together, they bring a unique and inclusive atmosphere to the restaurant. Ate Maria chose Rogers for its strong community spirit and support for small businesses, making it the ideal location for Lasang Pinoy.
