Pea Ridge Mayor Announces Bowen Taking Reins Once More as City’s Fire Chief
Pea Ridge Mayor Nathan See has announced that Clint Bowen will resume his role as fire chief for the Pea Ridge Fire-EMS Department. In January 2023, Bowen was originally appointed as the interim fire chief, with his interim status later being removed, solidifying his position as the fire chief.
Familiar with the department, Bowen started his fire service career as a volunteer with the Pea Ridge Fire Department in the mid-1990s. He went on to become a battalion chief in Rogers and offered valuable leadership to the Pea Ridge department.
Bowen has stated his passion for firefighting and his commitment to providing professional services to the community. He emphasized the importance of building public trust and ensuring the safety of both the community and his personnel.
As fire chief, Bowen aims to educate the public on fire prevention and safety. Sustainability and progress in the smaller Pea Ridge department are important goals for him, especially in the face of larger and more progressive departments in the area.
Bowen’s extensive experience includes certifications in various aspects of the fire and paramedic services.
With this announcement, Bowen resumes his crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of Pea Ridge and its residents.
