Pea Ridge Police and Fire Departments Host Fourth Annual Boots, Badges and Bandages Blood Drive
The Pea Ridge Police and Fire Departments joined forces to organize the fourth annual Boots, Badges, and Bandages blood drive. This event brought together local heroes to encourage the community to donate blood and save lives.
On July 25, the Pea Ridge District Court hosted the blood drive, marking another successful year for the collaborative effort. The event was well-attended, with 42 units of blood collected in the previous year, a testament to the community’s generosity and the dedication of the police and fire departments.
- The fire department, police, and EMS have teamed up to host this blood drive every year.
- The blood drive is an important part of the community’s efforts to promote blood donations and save lives.
In previous years, the event has seen friendly rivalries between the “Boots” (fire department) and the “Badges” (police department) as they compete to collect the most blood donations. The Community Blood Center has been an integral part of the event, providing the necessary resources and expertise to ensure a successful blood drive.
The organizers and attendees alike are proud of the impact this event has on the community. By hosting the blood drive, Pea Ridge is able to provide a vital service and show appreciation for the heroic work of local emergency responders.
