Read It Again Bookstore at Bentonville Public Library seeks help filling new shelves

Newsflash: Read It Again Bookstore Awaits Your Help to Fill New Shelves

The Bentonville Public Library’s Read It Again Bookstore is preparing to expand its collection, and it needs your help to fill its new shelves!

The Bookstore’s Big Addition

During the library’s closure in October, the Read It Again Bookstore will receive a significant upgrade, with 264 new shelves to complement its existing 66 shelves.

What the Bookstore Needs

On September 28, the community will come together for a “Load the Truck” book drive. Residents are invited to donate books of all genres and reading levels, unscratched CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, unused journals, stationery, and activity kits. These donated items will support the library’s programming and special projects.

What Not to Bring

Donations are limited to clean and undamaged materials. The bookstore will not accept items that are dirty, moldy, water-damaged, excessively marked, or items like textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, cassettes, or three-ring binders.

Supporting the Library

The proceeds from the bookstore’s sales support various library programs and activities, from youth services to book clubs and community events. Your donations will help keep these vital programs thriving.

Get Ready to Donate

Join the community at the Bentonville Public Library on September 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the book drive. Together you can help fill those new shelves and continue enriching your community.
