Tontitown Grape Fest Upholds Traditions in its 125th Year

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the Tontitown Grape Festival, a celebration that continues to uphold its rich traditions and honor Italian history and community pride. The festival is a highly anticipated event, running from Tuesday, August 6 to Saturday, August 10.

Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including grape stomping, live entertainment, and arts and crafts fairs. A highlight of the festival is the renowned spaghetti dinners, available for adults at and children (10 and under) at . Admission to the festival, parking, and nightly entertainment are all free.

For safety, the Tontitown Police Department has implemented traffic measures, including a single free parking entrance off Highway 412 and one-way traffic flow during festival hours. Visitors are encouraged to drink lots of water and take precautions in the hot weather. Carnival rides are also available, with armband prices ranging from to depending on the day.

Other events include the Run for the Grapes 5K Walk/Run and Kids Run on Saturday morning, as well as live performances by several bands throughout the festival. There are also strict guidelines in place, prohibiting items like firearms, machetes, and explosives, and emphasizing caution during the hot weather.
