Walmart Heirs Purchase Bella Vista Land in Multi-Million Dollar Deal
Blue Crane, a real estate company owned by Tom and Steuart Walton, the heirs to the Walmart fortune, have finalized the purchase of approximately 2,700 acres of land in Bella Vista and Benton County, Arkansas. This substantial land acquisition marks a significant investment for the Walton family in the region.
The purchase price for the land has been reported as nearly million, which translates to approximately ,500 per acre. The exact development plans for the acquired land have not been disclosed, but indications suggest a focus on outdoor recreation, aligning with Bella Vista’s heritage of fostering connections with nature.
The land, which spans over four square miles, was acquired from Cooper Communities, a local development company that will retain ownership and management of commercial and residential properties in Bella Vista.
