KANSAS CITY, KS — Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after a bicyclist was found dead Tuesday night in the 2200 block of Metropolitan Avenue.
Officers responded at about 10:11 p.m. after getting reports of a bicyclist lying in the roadway. When police arrived, they found a man dead at the scene.
Investigators determined that the man had been struck by a vehicle that left before officers arrived. No suspect has been taken into custody.
